FRANKIE SANDS

35 Years On Stage
Frankie Sands has been singing since grade school. He likes to joke, “I got my first break in 5th grade.” From performing at big events like Regis Philbin’s retirement party to his induction into the prestigious Friars Club, Frankie has spent a lifetime on stage. His tastes were shaped by parents who filled the house with the great American songbook of the 1940s and beyond.

THE SHOW

Frankie’s performances center on vocal impersonations of the legends he pays tribute to: Sinatra, Martin, Darin and Bennett, a dimension few tribute acts can match. For the full experience he also offers physical impersonations, complete with the look of each icon. Beyond singing, Frank is an accomplished drummer who leads his own band: a well-rounded, multi-talented performer.

MORE ABOUT FRANKIE
The Frankie Sands Sound
For more than three decades, Frankie Sands has built a life out of the songs that defined an era. What began in a grade-school talent show grew into a career devoted entirely to the music of the Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Tony Bennett. Frankie does not simply cover these legends. He studies them, from the phrasing and the timing to the easy confidence that could quiet a room and then bring it roaring back. Every set is shaped around the audience in front of him, whether that is a candlelit supper club, a wedding reception or a corporate gala. Backed by anything from a single pianist to a full big band, he brings the swing, the standards and the showmanship of the golden age of American song to stages across the New York metro area and beyond. Audiences remember the warmth as much as the voice: the between-song stories, the nod to a couple celebrating an anniversary, the way an old standard suddenly feels brand new.
